Model-Driven Design and Implementation

For more than five years now, No Magic has been hosting the annual No Magic World Conference (NMWC) where UML, SysML experts, Business Analysts and Enterprise Architecture industry leaders deliver the information modeling professionals need.

This time we want to share a record of David Buckler‘s (CACI) speech along with a slideshow presentation from 2014‘s NMWC.

David introduced an innovative model-driven design and implementation methodology (MDDI) that he developed together with Daniel Brookshier, one of the first MagicDraw users and a former No Magic’s Chief Architect. MDDI is meant to provide solutions to various enterprise problems: misaligned processes resulting in duplication of efforts, wasted resources and opportunities, proprietary and stovepipe solutions, and many others.
